Your Marriage Doesn't Have to Be in Crisis to Need Help.

I help couples learn how to benefit from their arguments instead of repeating the same exhausting fights. The goal isn't to eliminate conflict. It's to understand what happens between you when conflict shows up and learn how to do it differently.

I help couples recognize their patterns, stop triggering each other unnecessarily, and resist the temptation to interpret their partner's motives. Instead of assuming they know what the other person is thinking, they learn to ask better questions and stay curious a little longer.

I also help couples cultivate their third identity (their coupleship) with its own needs, priorities, and rhythms. Because a healthy marriage isn't simply about getting your individual needs met. It's about learning to care for the relationship you're creating together, then finding ways to honor each person's wants and desires within it.

Here's something I've learned: a C-minus marriage can be surprisingly difficult to change. It's not good enough to feel happy, but it isn't bad enough to make leaving feel necessary. There's no obvious catastrophe forcing a decision…just a slow accumulation of disappointment, disconnection, and the nagging sense that marriage should feel better than this.

And relationships change. The couple you were when you first married isn't necessarily the couple you need to be when you're raising children, navigating midlife, or entering a new season together. Learning to adapt, extend grace, and occasionally practice a little intentional amnesia about the small stuff can make all the difference.

My job is to help you understand your relationship, argue more productively, and build a marriage that works better for both of you—not a perfect marriage, but one you're genuinely glad to be in.
